I THINK maggie, perhaps now I know why all the men & THE WOMEN ,in the supermarket in Naples a couple of years ago ..looked at me, IN A MOST PECULIAR WAY....they had STRANGE glints in their eyes...When all I did was ASK FOR A KILO & a Half OF DELICIOUS PECORINA FORMAGGIO ...THEY NEVER STOPPED SMILING AT ME & LAUGHING..is that why i got freebies, ice-cream and sweets....& things.. & flowers ...I paid for the cheese though.....I went into that supermarket every DAY. I Loved it in there...they even sang to me ...the staff...It WAS LIKE AN ITALIAN FILM.,.I SPENT MOST MY HOLDAY IN THAT SUPERMARKET!!It was open till late in the night,...they cried on my last day...oh, they were so lovely..! They EVEN took photographs of me...ahaahhahahahahaahaahhAHAHAHAHA
