Mrs krap sang this song...in a club in Como about (I think) 4 years ago now ,it just started from nothing,i was just having a glass of wine...and then ..it ended up being a jamming session...everyone was running home for their instruments..ahaahhahahaaAHAHHAHHA(very italian)....anyhow,you know,how lots different people start... joining in....and it goes on and on and on and on.....for ages...you keep improvising...it was JUST amazing.I loved every second of it......till 5 am......when i collapsed....singing summertime...(MY party piece)......carried to the car...over a strong shoulder....and later..at the house,...thrown ..YES ! thrown on the bed..!! I slept for 18 hrs!!
It's all very poignant now...because Gianni died last year and a half ago,he was my Italian friend., a dear man ,.and i loved him very much...I was the only person apparently, who was allowed to eat ice-cream-gelati in his posh mercedes....& now i can't go to Como...and repeat it all again..,not like it was anyway.. ,.....I WISH I COULD TURN THE CLOCK BACK.........i would have sang.....something else..........I'm so grateful for that time he gave us....and in Venice....what a laugh we had. ...talking about the old days...(I met him when i was just 21.a nurse..in England.....and he said i didn't look any older ahaahhaAHAHAHHAHa ...when he picked us up at Milan train station...100's of years later...oh.!...my friend ..where are you now ,when i need you....? I am looking at photo's of us all in venice....with pigeons on my head....photographs are so strange....capturing time...that we can't ever get back....aahhaahhhaaahahaa oh...i'm just looking at a REALLY FUNNY ONE NOW.....i am only 5ft...and i posed (as tourists do) with 2 amazing Harlequins...with their painted faces etc...the venetian thing).women=..6 ft something) i'm in the middle..of them......ahahahaaahhahaaa I JUST LOOK SO STUPID !!!!!!!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHA!!
