Dear 'THE BEST ' ,
This is one of my favourite films ever! It is exquisite . I LOVE IT. I don't think i will ever tire of watching it. It's so funny in parts..,Audrey Tatou is superb in it! I love all the characters...Did you see it? If so, what did YOU think of it.? I'd love to know.
When it first came out a few years ago...some of my family &..friends who saw it before me at the cinema said(we have just seen a film and it was like oh my god!...a clone of ..you ...your mind....me.., mrs krap..)ahaahaaaahahahahaa some of the things in the film reminded them of what my own mind gets up to...I honestly got a few phone calls...SO OF COURSE I WAS DYING TO SEE IT........& when I did ----I UNDERSTOOD..EXACTLY ...what they meant,..so this film will always hold a special place in my heart.
ps, Did any of the other writers /readers/ here, like this french film? I just wondered.

Caro 'The BEST'....Our lovely 'film buff'....you are most welcome...Listen, DO watch Amelie..as soon as you can...I LOVE IT as i said...it's sort of really really FEEL -GOOD- -FACTOR FILM.!!..the COLOURS ARE VERY PROMINENT...almost cartoony..sort of vibrant..I HOPE YOU LIKE IT...when you get round to seeing it...(there are English subtitles) THE MUSIC IS OHHHHHHH SO sooooo nice...Amelie's waltz...super..!!It's very moving.
There was some controversy about this film though, as it was said that it did not depict 'modern day Paris' ie...no black people .or ethnic minorities...etc etc.AND THAT is why it wasn't shown at the cannes film festival...or something like that.! I can't remember now...But one of the ADORABLE characters is of Turkish descent..IT'S A CHARMING -ROMANTIC-COMEDY...well worth seeing...and i will value your opinion on it...SOON...i hope.I think this is the film that made AUDREY TATOU ...FAMOUS..Internationally...she is JUST AMAZING AND GORGEOUS !!!
