i do sing. Let me tell u about my singing debut when i was
8. I entered myself in a local competition (back in Sicily) and diligently went to the practices every night, where a three - man band waited to accompany me. All this took place at my Dad's place of work...a type of country club. Some of the members decided to help me get ready for the competition. My brother on the other hand, was not too pleased that i was hanging around adults, being that it was dark out and all....so he would throw me out and tell me to go home. ( he's still very touchy til this very day.) As soon as i would leave, the guitar player, Professore Vanadia who played the drums, would sneak me in the back door, and back to singing i went!! We did this for about a month. Just about drove my brother mad. I had picked a song from the zecchino D'oro...a childrens' song. When they announced my name to go to the stage, i couldnt get thru the crowd, so the carabinieri had to pass me over people's heads lol. Got on stage....sang my little heart out. Came in second :-)))
Bruno....the note just said "you can lead " it was in reference to our dancing together. Im starting to have feelings for this little guy!!!
