Hey! Just wanted to say the other day I was at my friend's house and I ate some beets that he had! They were really tasty! I thought they tasted like corn and pickles, very nice! Anyway, just wanted to say I remembered how healthy you said they are!

heheh!! Sorry about that. This is the first time I put a photo up and I didn't know how it was gonna turn out.
Aahahahhahahahahahahaaaa!!!!!!OH MATT.!WHAT A LOVELY SURPRISE.THIS PHOTO IS JUST SO AMAZING!! I DON'T THINK I HAVE EVER SEEN A MORE BEAUTIFUL ONE OF BEETROOTS GROWING ON THE LAND....I JUST WANT TO PULL IT UP AND EAT IT!! NOW!!! And those droplets of water on the leaves..it just looks SO earthly and edible and SCRUMPTIOUS. and those oxalis all around them are one of my favourite little plants (the leaves open up in the sun) and then they close again when the sun goes..and they look like four leaf clovers..how lovely of you to think of me and post this.THANK YOU SO MUCH! ...and yes they do taste A bit like corn and pickle.You ARE so lucky to be able to get them so fresh from your friends garden.KEEP EATING THEM ..i am ,but alas I have to go to the farmers market for them (better than supermarket ones)I ate one today but it was already boiled..I need to get that juicer.I love beetroot soup with natural yoghurt or sour cream floating on top..Yum yum....IT'S funny because I had already asked the author to FEED you beetroots in a comment earlier ..then hours later saw this...ahhahahahhahahaa I KNEW I WAS PSYCHIC.(It's because i eat beets...they develop the 6th sense)
