BBC NEWS REPORT OF MUDSLIDES IN MESSINA SICILY.

Just a quick note to say ;I have just seen a disturbing breaking news report on our BBC news here,that there has been a landslide in Messina in Sicily...I think they said 13 people as yet have been known to have died.It was a very brief report & nothing more has been said about it yet on the tv.
I know some of you here are from Sicily ,I pray that you have no family or friends affected in this, yet another Tragedy for the world.It seems to be everyday now doesn't it ,with these terrifying disasters happening.

LATEST NEWS-on Messina tragedy:13;O7 BST.
Dear Maggie ,just heard a little more on news-It was Mudslides due to torrential rain.Apparently (as yet unconfirmed) 40 injured people in hospital.Some buildings have collapsed-cars swept away.It happened in the night.That's all that came up on the ticker-tape & that the mayor is asking Dr's and Nurses to go to help in the stricken area.I'm really sorry.I do pray that your family and friends are ok.
