July 15, 2009 Dear Supporter What do Levees.org, Lil Wayne, and the LSU baseball team have in common? They were all proclaimed "Celebrity Firecrackers" by the New Orleans Times Picayune. In honor of Fourth of July, the city's leading news source rounded up 10 "local firecrackers" in the news. Levees.org made the list for spearheading a campaign urging Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La.to call for a federal investigation into allegations that the Army Corps of Engineers allowed employees to use company computers to attack its critics.
